The BBC is looking for a family to film, who are on their holiday in the UK this Summer.

It is a great fun opportunity for one of you already booked at Mayrose, or planning on a holiday with us. If you are interested please let us know and we can put your names forward. info@mayrosefarmcottages.co.uk

BBC TV family holiday programme

In response to the growing trend for the British to stay in this country for their summer holidays we are looking for a number of families that we can follow both travelling to and during their holidays around the UK in July and August. We will be filming the families in their cars on the way to their holiday so we are looking for people who have a minimum of a four-hour car journey to get to you. It would be great if you could tell families who have already booked about the project and ask if they are happy to have a chat about their forthcoming holiday. Any conversation at the moment would just be for research purposes and for the families to find out more about the project. At this stage there is no obligation on either side for the family to take part in the film.

BBC documentaries are currently working on a 60-minute documentary for Wonderland, an observational, human-interest documentary strand for BBC 2 that aims to provide unique insight into British life. Here is a link to one of the programmes from the last run http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00npjk7 and you should still be able to view this one online http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00p405g. The films are always diverse of subject but portray their contributors in a warm, sympathetic and non-judgemental way.
